From Byte Digital, the official company wiki and knowledge base

Byte Digital managed Meta advertising for a Bromley recruitment fair as part of its work for South East London NHS. The campaign promoted a local opportunity to explore employment with NHS, healthcare and other public-sector employers.

Audience and timing

The recruitment fair took place on 23 October 2024. Advertising ran from 1–22 October, creating a period for people to discover the event and explore the opportunities before the day.

The audience plan covered Bromley and Sevenoaks. The brief considered people seeking work, career changers, people returning to employment and students exploring their options.

This was a local event with a fixed date. Geography, timing and a clear explanation of the opportunity were central to the campaign.

Two complementary media roles

Byte combined reach and traffic campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.

Reach activity introduced the fair to the local audience. The traffic campaign encouraged visits to the event information, helping interested people explore participating organisations and the next steps.

The brief identified the practical information the destination needed: date, time, location, employers, preparation advice and the route to find out about interviews. The advertising and destination were planned around that decision-making journey.

Creative that made the opportunity clear

Byte developed copy and artwork with the NHS communications team through proposed creative, NHS review and joint refinement.

The message brought together the employment opportunity, local venue and event timing. The next step led to information people could use to decide whether to attend and how to prepare.

Byte handled strategy, audience targeting, setup, optimisation and reporting, managing delivery around the event schedule.

Selected traffic result

The Meta traffic campaign achieved an average cost per click of £0.07 to the event information.

This is a measure of the campaign's ability to generate visits to the information destination during the run-up to the fair.

Relevance for NHS events and workforce communications

The work demonstrates Byte's experience with time-sensitive local event advertising. It connects a defined audience with an understandable opportunity and the practical information needed to take it further.

The parent-education campaign shows a different event journey, with multilingual advertising supporting Eventbrite registration. The NHS campaign directory includes further public-information and community-engagement work.
